What a week it's been for the Envirowarm team! We've been busy across Hull, East Yorkshire, and beyond, delivering everything from crucial safety checks to big-scale renewable upgrades. Our social media feeds have been buzzing with updates, and we wanted to bring you a quick summary of what we’ve been up to.
🔥 Boiler Installations: Hull's New Heating Heroes
This week, a major focus was on getting homes ready for the colder months with reliable, A-rated efficiency.
Combi Boiler Swap in HU5: We installed a brand new, high-efficiency combi boiler for a family near Anlaby Road. Their old unit was over 15 years old, noisy, and inefficient. The new installation was completed in a single day, leaving them with instant hot water and a massive improvement in energy use. (We posted a before/after shot of the pipework—what a difference a tidy install makes!)
System Upgrade in Beverley: For a larger property in Beverley, we replaced an old conventional boiler and tank setup with a powerful modern system boiler. This was coupled with a new smart thermostat setup, giving the homeowners ultimate control over their heating schedules and costs.
We always stress that a new boiler isn't just about heat; it's about saving money and reducing your risk of a winter breakdown.
đź’š Renewable Energy Spotlight: Air Source Heat Pumps
Our dedication to sustainable heating continues! This week saw us working on two exciting renewable projects:
ASHP Installation Prep near Market Weighton: We finalised the pre-installation survey and initial pipework for an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) system. This family is moving away from oil, taking a huge step towards drastically reducing their carbon footprint and running costs. (Look out for the finished installation photos next week!)
Annual ASHP Service in Aldbrough: We carried out a full annual service on an Air Source Heat Pump we installed two years ago. Regular maintenance is vital to ensure these efficient units continue to deliver maximum performance and protect the client's long-term warranty. Everything was running perfectly!
🔧 Crucial Servicing & Safety Checks
We also squeezed in several vital jobs to keep commercial and domestic clients safe:
Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12s): We completed multiple safety checks for landlords across the Hull area, ensuring their properties meet legal safety standards and protecting their tenants. Safety first, always!
Biomass Boiler Tune-Up: We returned to one of our loyal clients to service their biomass boiler. As we've highlighted before, using quality fuel and sticking to an annual service schedule is the key to longevity for these systems—and this one is running like clockwork!
